Are you a Manufacturing professional passionate about manufacturing excellence, team leadership and continuous improvement? Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in Singapore, we are looking for a pro-active and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations on the production floor. This includes overseeing a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met, and driving initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide production operators to meet daily output goals while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Safety & 5S Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain high standards of workplace organization through 5S practices to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
  • Quality & Process Improvement: Champion zero-defect initiatives and proactively resolve workflow interruptions using lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of production materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to support operational efficiency and inventory control.
  • Digitalization & Automation: Lead efforts to implement digital tools and automation technologies that streamline production operations.
  • Capacity & Productivity Planning: Conduct monthly capacity and productivity analyses to optimize resource planning, reduce waste, and shorten lead times.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other supervisors and departments to ensure seamless operations across shifts and functional areas.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing/production.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and meet business goals.
  • Open to work in second shift (3.30pm to 12 am).
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related field.
  • Knowledge of Lean, SPC tools or Oracle business system will be an advantage.
