Job summary

A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Singapore is seeking Machine Operators/Manufacturing Specialists to operate machinery and perform production runs according to established processes. The role involves conducting daily maintenance, training new staff, and executing detailed production protocols. Candidates should have vocational training in engineering and ideally experience in the semiconductor sector. The position requires the ability to work on a 12-hour rotating shift and strong knowledge of process standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the machine and perform process runs.
  • Execute shift checks and pass down information.
  • Perform production runs according to MES and product runsheets.
  • Conduct daily autonomous maintenance on machines.
  • Train new operators on production protocols.

Skills

Proficient in operating machines
Knowledge of SPC and SQC
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to work in shifts

Education

Machine Operator/ Manufacturing Specialists

Machine operators/ Manufacturing Specialists operate machine and perform process runs according to standard work instructions.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Operates machine
  • Execute beginning of shift checks as well as pass down information to next shift
  • Perform production runs as according to MES (our wafer tracking system) and / or product runsheets and work instructions.
  • Do SPC & update SQC for machines.
  • Perform daily autonomous maintenance on machines
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production work areas.
  • Train and Guide new operators/ manufacturing specialist :
  • On operating the process and run the production lots in the process.
  • On Production protocol and expectation.
  • Work with Assistance engineer / Process engineer to update process procedure.
  • Help process engineer to run engineering lot after getting approval from manufacturing engineer.
  • Trained and become an expert in lithography process. This person will be the pillar in manufacturing to guide the operators in lithography process.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties given by the Manufacturing engineers.
Job Requirements
  • Must at least completed vocational training in technical field, ITE, NITEC or Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  • Working experience in Semiconductors or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • MS Office literate.
  • Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
