A leading semiconductor manufacturer is looking for a Manufacturing Specialist (Machine Operator) in Singapore. This role involves operating machines, performing production runs, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates will have vocational training in a technical field and experience in the manufacturing sector. The position requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and offers opportunities for training others in the lithography process.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed vocational training in technical field or equivalent.
  • Working experience in semiconductors or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Able to work 12 hours rotating shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machine and perform process runs according to instructions.
  • Execute shift checks and communicate with next shift.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines.
  • Train new operators and guide others in lithography process.

Manufacturing Specialist (Machine Operator)

Machine Operator/ Manufacturing Specialists

Machine operators/ Manufacturing Specialists operate machine and perform process runs according to standard work instructions.

  • Operates machine
  • Execute beginning of shift checks as well as pass down information to next shift
  • Perform production runs according to MES (our wafer tracking system) and or product runsheets and work instructions
  • Do SPC & update SQC for machines
  • Perform daily autonomous maintenance on machines
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production work areas
  • Train and guide new operators/ manufacturing specialists
  • On operating the process and run the production lots in the process
  • On production protocol and expectation
  • Work with assistance engineer / process engineer to update process procedure
  • Help process engineer to run engineering lot after getting approval from manufacturing engineer
  • Trained and become an expert in lithography process; this person will be the pillar in manufacturing to guide operators in lithography process
  • Any other ad-hoc duties given by the manufacturing engineers
Job Requirements
  • Must at least completed vocational training in technical field, ITE, NITEC or Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent
  • Working experience in Semiconductors or manufacturing industry preferred
  • MS Office literate
  • Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift
