Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Production Engineer to monitor and support day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth processes and quality compliance.

You will troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and drive improvements across safety, quality and efficiency. Collaborate with QA, QC, Maintenance, and other teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and support new product introductions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (required).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support day-to-day production processes to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot production and process issues and work with teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process parameters and production performance to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Develop, review, and improve production processes, SOPs, work instructions and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, productivity improvement, cost reduction and waste reduction.
• Support process validation, qualification and engineering change activities.
• Analyse production data and investigate process deviations, defects and quality issues.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, QC, Maintenance and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support installation, commissioning, calibration and maintenance of production equipment.
• Ensure production activities comply with safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement, automation and manufacturing engineering projects.
• Support new product introduction and process transfer activities where applicable.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering and production documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to improve process safety and reliability.
• Participate in audits and provide technical support.
• Perform other production engineering and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
