Job description
Summary

A leadership role for an experienced Engineering Manager to drive the successful transition of product designs into stable, efficient, and aerospace-compliant mass production. This position plays a critical role in shaping manufacturing excellence by leading process development, standardization, and continuous improvement for precision metal and CNC-based products used in aircraft interior galley storage solutions. Ideal for candidates with strong exposure to CNC machining, metal stamping, and automation equipment, who are motivated to lead teams and elevate manufacturing performance to aerospace standards.

** This role required permanently stay in China.

Job Scope
  • Lead engineering activities to convert product design drawings into manufacturable, cost-effective, and scalable production processes
  • Review and deconstruct 2D/3D assembly drawings into detailed component drawings and production BOMs
  • Define end-to-end manufacturing process flows including CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, surface treatment, and assembly
  • Develop and release process documentation, manufacturing instructions, and work instructions to standardise production
  • Oversee sample builds, provide on-site technical guidance, and validate samples against design and customer requirements
  • Identify quality gaps and process risks, drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and track closure
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Participate in non-conformance reviews and support decisions on rework, scrap, or concession release
  • Promote component standardisation and common parts usage to reduce material complexity and procurement cost
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launch and stable mass production
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments
  • Strong hands-on experience in CNC machining and metal stamping is mandatory
  • Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO9001, AS9100, or IATF16949
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
