Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team of AE engineers for CVD, PVD and CMP processes, ensuring daily operations meet fab delivery requirements. You will plan cross-training to boost shift flexibility and regularly feedback on performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to work independently.
• Highly driven, resourceful with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; addition of Power BI and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a manufacturing team of CVD, PVD and CMP Associate engineers to manage daily production operations to meet Fab delivery requirements.
• Plan manpower cross training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
• Engage direct reports regularly to feedback on performance and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with engineering and equipment counterparts to maximise tool output and efficiency.
• Improve section delivery performance with production control and capacity teams.
• Execute continuous improvement and quality programs in manufacturing operations.
• Cultivate 5S and safety mindset in daily work environment.
• Strive for zero miss-operations in all aspects of work scope.
• Identify potential human error issues and work on CAPA.
• Prepare and present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight priorities for the Engineering team.
• Resolve line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand capacity constraints to implement temporary solutions with Engineering.
• Engage IE and Engineering to ensure accurate assumptions and UPH are used in capacity modeling.
