Job Description
- Lead and support a manufacturing team of CVD, PVD and CMP Associate engineers(AE) to manage section daily production operations to meet Fab delivery requirements
- Work with AEs to plan out manpower cross training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
- Engage direct reports AEs/specialists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement.
- Daily close collaboration with CVD, PVD and CMP engineering and equipment counterparts to maximise tool output and efficiency performance
- Co-work with production control and capacity team to improve section delivery performance
- Execute continuous improvement and quality programs in manufacturing operations
- Cultivate good 5S and safety mindset in daily work environment
- Strive for zero miss-operations in all aspect of workscope
- Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on CAPA
- Prepare and present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus.
- Resolve and handle line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues to be able to identify, implement temp solutions and work with Engineering team to resolve them.
- Engage support groups like IE and Engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in semiconductor industry
- Strong leadership and independent.
- Highly driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint software. Added advantage with powerbi and automation skillset.
