Job description

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Description
  • Lead and support a manufacturing team of CVD, PVD and CMP Associate engineers(AE) to manage section daily production operations to meet Fab delivery requirements
  • Work with AEs to plan out manpower cross training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
  • Engage direct reports AEs/specialists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Daily close collaboration with CVD, PVD and CMP engineering and equipment counterparts to maximise tool output and efficiency performance
  • Co-work with production control and capacity team to improve section delivery performance
  • Execute continuous improvement and quality programs in manufacturing operations
  • Cultivate good 5S and safety mindset in daily work environment
  • Strive for zero miss-operations in all aspect of workscope
  • Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on CAPA
  • Prepare and present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus.
  • Resolve and handle line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues to be able to identify, implement temp solutions and work with Engineering team to resolve them.
  • Engage support groups like IE and Engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling.

  • Highly driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint software. Added advantage with powerbi and automation skillset.
