Job summary

A semiconductor fabrication company in Singapore is seeking an innovative Engineer/Senior Engineer to supervise production activities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that daily and monthly manufacturing goals are met through effective coordination of manpower and resources. A degree in engineering is required, along with relevant experience in wafer fabrication preferred. Training will be provided for junior candidates. This position values leadership and teamwork in a high-tech environment.

We’re searching for an Engineer/ Senior Engineer to be part of our Manufacturing diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals.

What you will be working on:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals through the efficient use of manpower, material, and machine; together with proficient methodologies, in a hazardous-free and healthy working environment.
• Plan, strategize and monitor the movement of WIP for maximum throughput, minimum idle time and maintain line linearity.
• Solicit Engineering support to ensure tight focus on areas and variance requiring immediate attention.
• Resolve and handle line-related issues / preventive maintenance and to understand all equipment capacities / constraints so as to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
• Mentor and train all Manufacturing Leaders and Assistants to develop skills required for efficient MFG operations.
• Execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations in his/her Section.
• Facilitate and participate in quality, productivity and cost reduction improvement.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators.
• Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity.
• Perform shift duties to support production, as required by Section Manager.
