Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to identify and solve engineering problems, support manufacturing improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience in an automation environment, and strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to provide technical guidance and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in machine tool or automation environment.
  • Experience in CNC Machinery assembly process is advantageous.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and solve engineering problems as needed
  • Support manufacturing/assembly process improvement
  • Responsible to uphold electrical safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and update process check sheets and manuals
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance as needed
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor Technicians
  • Conduct and prepare root analysis and part defect report
  • Work with Internal parties and vendor to prevent recurrence
  • Liaise with R&D department for engineering change request
  • Pre-inspection/inspection on MTC’s Quality Issues
  • Prepare electrical inspection test sheet for test and measurement
  • Evaluate and implement corrective measure on test result
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • To carry out or perform tasks / activities, prepare and submit necessary reports to Superior from time to time
Experience Required
  • Min 3 years experience in machine tool or automation environment
  • Experience in CNC Machinery assembly process and automation will be advantageous
  • A team player with a sense of responsibility and urgency
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
