Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CMM Technician in Singapore. The role involves guiding new products to mass production, documenting manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates must hold an ITE/Diploma/Certificate in Precision/Mechanical with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of CMM and technical documentation is essential. This position offers a salary range of $1900 - $2200 with additional benefits.

Job description
Manufacturing Engineer /& CMM Technician

Product Transition: Guide the new product from design to mass production, ensuring it can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively.

Process Development: Develop and document manufacturing processes, including writing work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications.

Tooling & Equipment: Support the selection, design, and validation of necessary tools, fixtures, and equipment for the new product.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control plans and participate in risk assessments like FMEA to ensure new products meet quality and regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Operations teams to address issues and ensure a smooth launch.

Production Support: Oversee pilot builds, provide technical support to production, and analyze data to identify and resolve manufacturing problems during ramp-up.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, analyze performance data, and drive ongoing optimization.

Monthly Rotation: Mon to Fri, 8.00am-5.30pm /& Night shift: Mon to Fri, 8.00pm-5.30am

Salary range: $1900 - $2200 + $5 Meal per day + $12 per night shift (If any) + $50 Attendance

Interpreting technical drawings for the quality inspection requirements including GD&T.

Use various types of measuring equipment including CMM etc.

Hands on knowledge of CMM (Mitutoyo, Zeiss, DEA).

Knowledge of CMM programming using the PCDMIS software.

Ensure In-process quality meets the specification and generate inspection report.
