Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interest in manufacturing processes, production planning, and continuous improvement.
• Basic CAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing process plans for new and existing products.
• Review production cycle times and identify improvements.
• Design cutting tools, fixtures, and gauges for production and inspection.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with the production team.
• Perform cost and time analysis for different processes.
• Assist with first article preparation and documentation.

Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Working Location: Seletar

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop manufacturing process plans for new and existing products.
• Support manufacturing engineers to review production cycle times and identify improvements.
• Help design cutting tools, fixtures, and gauges for production and inspection.
• Work with the production team to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Learn to perform cost and time analysis for different manufacturing processes.
• Assist with first article (FA) preparation and documentation under supervision.
• Take part in continuous improvement projects, including safety, quality, and cost reduction.
• Training and Development:
  • On-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
  • Exposure to industry-standard CAD/CAM tools (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidCAM).
  • Build skills in project management, problem-solving, and technical documentation.
