Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead our consultancy practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global e-commerce, digital strategy, and cross‑functional leadership, with a proven track record of delivering measurable growth for high‑profile brands. You will serve as a strategic partner to clients, designing and implementing comprehensive digital commerce solutions while shaping the direction and growth of our consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end digital commerce consulting engagements, including strategy development, e‑commerce operations optimization, go‑to‑market planning, and digital marketing initiatives.
 
- Advise clients on B2C, B2B, and omnichannel commerce strategies, leveraging insights from global markets.
 
- Manage client relationships and senior stakeholder engagement, providing thought leadership and trusted counsel to executive teams.
 
- Oversee project delivery, including requirement gathering, platform recommendations, vendor coordination, and implementation of digital commerce solutions.
 
- Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams within the consultancy, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and growth‑oriented culture.
 
- Drive business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand client portfolios and service offerings.
 
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative business models to provide clients with cutting‑edge digital solutions.
 
Qualifications & Skills
- 15+ years of experience in global e-commerce, digital marketing, or digital business strategy, preferably with experience in fashion, consumer products, or health & fitness tech.
 
- Proven experience leading multi‑country e‑commerce operations, digital transformation projects, and cross‑functional teams.
 
- Strong expertise in e‑commerce platforms (Magento, Digital River, Demandware/Adobe), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Athena), and digital marketing strategies.
 
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and operational excellence in both B2C and B2B channels.
 
- Exceptional stakeholder management, with experience collaborating with executive leadership, product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams.
 
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual proficiency or multilingual is a plus.
