Job Title: Managing Director, Singapore Regional Headquarters

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic and Financial Accountability Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with global objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets. Oversee full P&L for the region, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Monitor financial performance, investments, and major business ventures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong relationships with global HQ, shareholders, business partners, and regulatory authorities. Represent the company as its public spokesperson to enhance corporate reputation.
  • Operational Oversight and People Leadership Lead supporting and business units in Singapore and provide leadership to MDs in neighbouring countries.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years in shipping or container trade, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in regional P&L management and commercial growth.
  • Strong cross-cultural management skills, particularly in bridging Korean and Southeast Asian business practices.
  • Korean language proficiency or cultural familiarity is highly advantageous.
