Managing Director sets the overall vision and strategic direction for the organisation.

He/She leads the organisation and drives business growth strategies while maintaining the organisation's financial profitability.

He/She is also in charge of enterprise risk management and raising risk awareness.

He/She inspires innovation and leads client service excellence for the organisation to achieve success in a constantly changing environment.

He/She is analytical and innovative, and is able to make calculated decisions and perform within a dynamic environment.

He/She is also responsible for championing service excellence and fostering strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

He/She serves as a mentor and provides strategic guidance on all aspects of the organisation.

He/She commutes frequently to maintain strategic local and regional networks.

He/She also stays abreast of international trends in the tourism industry by attending key international events and conventions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop organisation's vision, mission and values.
  • Drive development and implementation of business development, sales and marketing strategies.

  • Lead communication and understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Lead development of business continuity strategies, policies and guidelines.
  • Lead organisational financial budgeting.
  • Lead partnerships and sponsorship management.
  • Leverage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on pricing of products and services.
  • Review major procurement activities.
  • Spearhead technology adoption and innovation culture in products and services.
  • Spearhead workplace safety and health culture.
  • Stay abreast of relevant emerging trends
