- Review SPAs and other transaction documents from a tax perspective, including tax warranties, tax indemnities, covenants, conditions precedent, purchase price provisions and implementation mechanics.
- Advise on post-acquisition integration, internal restructurings, legal entity rationalisation, supply chain or operating model changes, and exit readiness.
- Support clients on international tax developments relevant to transactions and cross-border structures, including anti-avoidance rules, economic substance, foreign-sourced income, transfer pricing interfaces and global tax reform.
- Assist with tax authority engagement where relevant, including applications, rulings, clearances, responses to queries and the management of transaction-related tax issues.
- Manage client deliverables and workstreams, including preparation of tax calculations, scoping and planning assignments, coordinating with A&M colleagues across jurisdictions and monitoring timelines and budgets.
- Support proposals, client relationship development, thought leadership and other market-facing initiatives as the practice continues to grow.

- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise and well-structured client deliverables and explain technical matters to non-tax stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate across jurisdictions and advisor groups, and deliver to transaction timelines.
- The ability to supervise, coach and develop junior team members while remaining hands-on in the execution and review of work.
- A proactive, curious and solutions-oriented mindset, with an interest in transactions, international business and evolving tax rules.
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced and growing practice.
- Relevant professional qualifications or progress towards qualification, such as accounting, tax or legal credentials, would be advantageous.
