Job description
Responsibilities:
  • 1) Trade Advisory
  • Provide cross-border trade related expert advice to companies and strategic partners in Singapore and the region, on the usage of FTAs.
  • Educate companies and partners about FTAs. Plan and conduct trainings/workshops to educate companies and partners on the use of FTAs.
2) Regional Programme Execution
  • Lead the rollout of CFOTI’s capability-building and advisory programmes in Singapore and the region.
  • Localise programme content and delivery in collaboration with regional partners.
  • Ensure alignment with CFOTI’s broader mission of enabling inclusive and sustainable trade.
3) Strategic Partnership Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison for partners in Singapore and the region.
  • Co-develop initiatives that reflect shared priorities, including trade facilitation, SME enablement and policy dialogues.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with ecosystem partners, including government agencies, foundations and private sector entities.
4) KPI Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track, analyse and report on KPIs.
  • Support CFOTI’s funding and reporting obligations by preparing timely updates and performance dashboards.
5) Digital Platform Enablement
  • Drive adoption of CFOTI’s GenAI-powered digital advisory platform across regional markets.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure platform usability, content relevance and user support.
  • Monitor platform analytics and user feedback to inform continuous improvement.
6) Programme Operations
  • Manage programme timelines, budgets, and disbursement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare decks, reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement or regional development.
  • A good understanding of businesses’ interests and concerns in cross-border trade and investment, as well as the local and international economic/ geopolitical trends impacting businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of FTAs, with strategic thinking and operational execution capability in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms; experience with GenAI or chatbot platforms and fluency in an ASEAN native language (e.g. Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Indonesia) would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ASEAN trade dynamics, SME development, and digital transformation.
  • Experience working with government agencies, foundations, or international organisations is a plus.
