The Manager of Strategic Planning is responsible for researching market and advanced technology development trends in the Asia region and formulating development strategies for the region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Technology Research & Strategic Recommendations

• Investigate and analyse market and technology trends in Asia.
• Compile strategic recommendations for development to headquarter which include conducting literature reviews and discussions with experts in AI, Robotics, Manufacturing, and Sustainability.

Ecosystem Research & Evaluation

• Research the R&D ecosystem in Southeast Asia, focusing on Singapore.
• Evaluate the ecosystem’s usefulness for the company’s technology development strategy via practical research projects.

Planning & Execution of Research Projects

• Plan and execute research projects to assess the Southeast Asia R&D ecosystem.
• Collaborate with headquarter to plan and implement projects whilst considering the technological challenges and development needs.
• Involve in administrative tasks such as negotiations and contract management with external organizations.

Required skills:

• Advanced research and analytical skills in technology and market trends.
• Familiarity with AI, robotics, manufacturing, and sustainability topics.
