Job description

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle – from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.

This role comes under the Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM) under SASD. The OGEM team enables undergraduate students to broaden their global network and perspective through various outbound and inbound mobility opportunities. The successful candidate will have a chance to specialize in short-term coursework and research programmes and will be able to work with and learn from some of the best international partner universities.

Key responsibilities
  • Work with Programme managers to implement short-term outbound and/or hybrid inbound with outbound short-term programmes with strong outreach and publicity initiatives.
  • Plan and improve on current work processes of the inbound and outbound mobility programme through system updates and regular reviews.
  • Manage all the financial services and procurement processes of the mobility programme to support students for their overseas short-term immersion / at NTU and peg the key delivery of service and activities to planned schedule and service quality.
  • Plan and set up effective schedule for efficient processes that supports programmes’ market entry strategy to build more overseas student immersion placement worldwide.
  • Conduct total mobility analysis, review all short-term exposure programme lines and the overall profitability and sustenance of the programmes.
  • Develop and monitor the data quality metrics and ensure programme data and reporting needs are met.
  • Cultivate short-term programme partnership and grow outbound placement opportunities including managing the process flow for short-term partnership agreements.
  • Engage partner universities, schools’ co-ordinators and colleagues on inbound and outbound mobility operation process.
  • Attend to student well-being needs and emergency incidents and situations that might occur.
  • Coach and guide two staff.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with strength in providing quality administrative expertise preferably in Institute of Higher Learning.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, promoting and executing short-term immersion programmes or similar initiatives.
  • Prior exposure to international markets and experience in working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Good financial knowledge and experience in building up programme needs through the use of data analysis.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Capable of using data insights to support programme planning.
  • Team player and highly collaborative.
