As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Manager / Senior Officer, Strategy & Planning to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute annual management cycle (20%): This includes scheduling and facilitating management meetings (Board of Directors, EXECO, ad-hoc), ensuring accurate and timely records, and conducting initial profit plan settings and quarterly budget updates.
- Manage Public Relations (PR) and Branding Strategy (15%): Support the formulation of PR/Branding strategies, coordinate internal branding activities (Town Halls, etc.), and manage PR materials (company introduction pack, website, etc.). Support CSR activities.
- Operational Excellence and Transformation Support (40%): Coordinate and manage all Global Trader Program (GTP) related matters, enhance organizational capabilities for future-readiness and operational excellence, strategically enable activities to unlock value, and support change management efforts.
- Others (10%): Tasks as assigned by the Chief Strategy Officer and/or Head of Operation Excellence & Transformation.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Business or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Manager: Preferably 7-10 years of relevant experience; Senior Officer: 4 – 7 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in commodity trading and a strong understanding of trade flows.
- Demonstrated high ethical standards and a strong awareness of compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively (for Manager level).
- Strong strategic thinking and business planning capabilities.
- Balanced analytical and emotional intelligence.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence in public speaking and stakeholder engagement.
