Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Manager/Senior Officer. This role involves contributing to the effective operation and growth of a specific department within United Overseas Bank, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality services and adherence to all regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee daily operational activities within the assigned department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and contribute to the bank's overall objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior officers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports on departmental performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and escalations, providing exceptional service and resolution.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing expertise and insights.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of strong leadership, team management, and development skills.
  • In‑depth understanding of banking operations, products, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant banking software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
