A government ministry in Singapore is seeking a motivated individual for preschool planning and development. This role involves working with government agencies and partners to implement infrastructure plans. Candidates should have strong project management and analytical skills, ideally with 2-3 years of relevant experience in fields like infrastructure or early childhood education. Join us in shaping the future of early childhood services in Singapore, contributing to a meaningful social impact.
ECDA’s Sector Planning team is responsible for the planning, design and development of preschool supply, to meet the demand for pre-school services in Singapore. This is a critical function to achieve Government’s goal of providing accessible, affordable and quality preschool services for young families. We are seeking individuals with a keen interest in the planning, design and development of preschool infrastructure, as well as conducting data analyses to inform both policy and operational/preschool service delivery.
You will work closely with government agencies and industry partners to conduct studies, feasibility assessments, evaluate proposals and guide implementation efforts to ensure the realisation of preschool infrastructure plans. You should thus possess strong project management skills and be able to manage divergent interests (land optimisation, financial constraints, needs on the ground, etc.). You will analyse and harness insights from preschool-related data as well as closely monitor and propose adequate responses to fast-changing trends, to better inform and enhance preschool infrastructure planning and service delivery. If you are looking for a position that enables you to shape the future of the early childhood sector, this is the job for you.
