The Manager/ Senior Manager, Human Resources is responsible for providing oversight for the human resources function with the objective of aligning HR plans with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be the architect of our people strategy, with full ownership of the following areas:
HR Leadership & Strategy
- Design and review all HR policies and processes to build a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Develop and implement HR plans that are deeply aligned with mission and strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and function heads on all HR-related issues, driving organisational change and building an adaptive workforce.
Talent Management & Organisational Development
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.
- Drive succession planning and leadership development programs to build a robust pipeline for critical roles.
- Enhance organisational capability through targeted training, development, and engagement initiatives.
Rewards & Performance Management
- Establish a performance management system that aligns individual goals with business outcomes and drives engagement.
- Design competitive, market-tailored compensation and benefits structures.
- Champion our culture by implementing leading-edge employee well-being, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and recognition programs.
HR Operations, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure efficient HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and records management.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll) with external vendors as required.
- Guarantee 100% compliance with local labour laws and regulations through proactive policy development and regular audits.
Measurement of Success:
Your performance will be measured by tangible outcomes, including:
- Reduction in turnover rates and improvement in succession planning success rates.
- Positive feedback from senior management on HR strategy alignment and from employees on development programs.
- High training participation rates and employee satisfaction with Compensation & Benefits.
- Successful compliance audits and measurable improvements in employee engagement scores.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- IHRP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in start-up or fast-paced, scaling environments.
- Proven, hands‑on experience managing all key HR functions: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Specific Skills & Abilities:
- Strategic Autonomy: Ability to work independently to define problems and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Influential Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to build positive relationships and achieve desired outcomes at all levels.
- Leadership Acumen: A proven leader who can inspire teams, foster engagement, and manage complex HR projects.
- Legal Expertise: Strong, up‑to‑date understanding of Singapore's employment laws and regulatory landscape.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Expertise in defining, tracking, and analysing HR metrics to create insightful dashboards that drive decision‑making.
- Employee Experience Analytics: Familiarity with using employee feedback and survey data to identify trends and design targeted engagement initiatives.
- Digital & AI Fluency: Proficiency with digital HR platforms and a keen willingness to learn and leverage new AI‑powered tools to enhance HR effectiveness.
