Capgemini Invent is seeking a banking transformation leader in Singapore to develop the banking business and lead on-the-ground transformation programs. You will collaborate with senior Japanese and international executives to shape solutions and drive strategy through execution.

The role requires 9+ years in consulting with banking experience, fluent Japanese and English, and strong delivery and relationship-building skills.

Competenze

• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong background in management consulting.
• Consulting experience within the banking sector is mandatory, with a deep understanding of banking businesses, operations and transformation priorities.
• Strong experience in business transformation, IT operating model, process transformation, digital transformation or technology-enabled business transformation within banking.
• A profile weighted toward business and operations rather than pure IT, combined with sufficient technology understanding to advise clients on the business implications of technology decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business as well as deliver consulting engagements, including identifying opportunities, shaping solutions/proposals and building senior client relationships.
• Strong hands-on delivery capability. You are comfortable moving from executive-level conversations to working directly with client teams to solve problems and drive execution.
• Fluent Japanese is mandatory , with the ability to operate confidently in a professional Japanese business environment.
• Fluent professional English is mandatory , with the ability to communicate, present and influence effectively in an international organization.
• Deep understanding of Japanese business culture , including the ability to navigate stakeholder relationships and work effectively with Japanese senior executives and organizations.
• Significant international and cross-cultural experience, with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both Japanese and Western/international corporate environments.
• Strong executive communication, structured problem solving, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.

The Practice

The Business Technology practice at Capgemini Invent helps organizations navigate complex business and technology transformation. We work with senior executives to translate strategic priorities into practical changes across business models, operations, processes, organization and technology.

For this role, our primary focus is banking, particularly clients and stakeholders operating across Japan, Singapore and international markets.

Our team in Southeast Asia is intentionally lean. We work in small, high-performing teams with direct access to client leadership. Managers are expected to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and play an active role in developing client relationships and new business.

What You'll Work On

You will play a dual role: developing our banking business while leading transformation projects on the ground.

You will work closely with senior banking executives to understand their business priorities, identify transformation opportunities, shape solutions, and lead engagements from strategy through execution.

This is not a pure IT consulting or technology architecture role. We are looking for someone who understands the business and operational realities of banking, while being sufficiently technology-fluent to connect business transformation with the technology capabilities required to enable it.

• Banking Business & Operating Model Transformation: Helping banks rethink operating models, processes, organization and ways of working to improve efficiency, customer outcomes and business performance.
• Business & Technology Transformation: Connecting banking priorities with technology-enabled transformation, translating business requirements into pragmatic transformation roadmaps.
• Transformation Delivery: Structuring and leading complex transformation programs, working directly with client teams to turn strategic recommendations into measurable outcomes.
• Executive Advisory: Working with senior banking stakeholders to frame complex issues, develop recommendations and build alignment across business, operations and technology functions.
• Business Development: Identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, shaping propositions and proposals, and contributing to the development and growth of our banking portfolio.
• Japan / International Client Engagement: Acting effectively across Japanese and international business environments, bridging different communication styles, decision-making approaches and stakeholder expectations.
