A government agency in Singapore is seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to support the digital transformation efforts. The role involves managing and maintaining enterprise IT systems, ensuring compliance with government policies, and engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in IT project management and skills in web development and cloud technologies. This position offers a 3-year contract with potential for permanence.
To ensure that CAAS continues to be a high-performing and future-ready organisation, we are digitally transforming the way CAAS staff work using new digital tools and services, and how the public engages with CAAS through citizen-centric e-services.
We are looking for strong and dynamic candidates to be part of the Digital Development team in CAAS’ Transformation Office. Together, you will help to achieve CAAS’ digital transformation strategic outcomes – by supporting our IT modernisation efforts and overseeing the maintenance and support of existing enterprise IT application systems. You will be working closely with business users and vendors, ensuring system compliance with government IM8 policies, and identifying improvements to enhance business operations and delivery of CAAS’ e-services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to manage ICT systems that support CAAS's operational excellence.
Requirements Trained in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Computing/Telecommunication) or equivalent At least 3 years of relevant working experience in IT project management in the scoping, design, development, implementation and maintenance of web-based application systems Minimum 2 years of IT knowledge in Web Development, Cloud Technologies, Cloud Security, Agile Methodology, Database Management, and Troubleshooting and Technical Support Working knowledge of Cloud Service Providers, Cybersecurity, and ICT governance will be an added advantage Good knowledge of computer concepts such as Operating Systems, Networking, Virtualization, Web Technologies, Deployment and DevOps, Security Best Practices, Self-motivated, driven, adaptable to change, with problem-solving mindset, good team player and strong ability to multi-task Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management and technical documentation Good analytical, presentation and negotiation skills, including vendor management experience Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
