The Manager / Senior Manager, Community Engagement leads the strategic and operational aspects of community engagement, public relations, fundraising, donor stewardship, volunteer management, and event planning. This role plays a key part in elevating the charity’s visibility, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and driving resources to advance its mission.

Key Responsibilities:
🤝Community Engagement & Donor Relations
- Build and nurture relationships with donors, partners, foundations and family offices.
- Develop strategies to grow our donor base and enhance retention.
- Manage donor accounts and ensure thoughtful stewardship.
- Optimize CRM systems for targeted outreach and data‑driven insights.
💰Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
- Lead fundraising campaigns across digital, direct mail, grants, and sponsorships.
- Organize impactful fundraising events aligned with our mission.
- Prepare annual fundraising plans and performance reports.
- Cultivate partnerships to boost visibility and community support.
📣PR & Communications
- Oversee marketing and communications across all platforms.
- Manage media relations and public messaging to elevate our brand.
- Ensure consistent and compelling messaging for all stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed and engaged.
🎉Event Planning & Stakeholder Engagement
- Plan and execute donor appreciation events and community outreach programs and activities.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless and strategic events.
- Gather feedback and measure event success to inform future initiatives.

- Supervise the team in developing sustainable volunteer engagement strategies.
- Strengthen relationships with new and existing volunteers.
- Integrate volunteer and donor systems for better coordination.
- Oversee centralized databases for recognition and engagement.
👥Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and support team members to foster a high‑performance culture.
- Set clear goals, conduct reviews, and encourage professional growth.
- Promote collaboration across fundraising, engagement, and volunteer functions.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in community engagement, fundraising, PR/comm, event planning, and volunteer management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in digital tools such as CRM systems and social media platforms.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and mission‑driven.
