Job description
Assets and Facilities Lifecycle Management

Lead the tracking, planning, maintenance, and management of venue assets to ensure their optimal condition, performance, safety, and longevity

  • Develop and implement the Assets and Facilities Management Strategy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure its alignment with client’s systems architecture
  • Lead lifecycle planning of venue assets, including regular assessments, upgrades, acquisitions and replacements to maximise safety and operational efficiency
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of multiple properties, ensuring systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical function seamlessly
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan
  • Analyse performance for areas of improvements
Compliance and Safety

Ensure all facilities operate in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards to protect staff, visitors and assets

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities
  • Maintain documentation and records related to safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance activities
Vendor and Contract Management

Manage external service providers e.g. events and facilities management service to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to organisational standards

  • Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance to uphold quality standards
  • Assess and select vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other outsourced services, ensuring alignment with client's needs
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective service delivery
Financial Management and Budget Management

Develop and oversee the facilities budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost control

  • Develop and manage the annual facilities budget (e.g. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)), including costs for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency and sustainability
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related fields
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in managing multi-venue/facilities, preferably within events management industry
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously to define and implement solutions
