Overview
What The Role Is You play a part in strengthening safety culture in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) through heightening safety awareness while being responsible to plan, coordinate and execute promotional campaigns in strengthening the safety culture in the organisation.
What You Will Be Working On
- Develop and review the framework and guidelines to promote effort in creating a positive safety culture
- Plan and organise safety promotion programmes in the RSN
- Produce safety promotion content for the RSN internal tribe
- Collaborate with different agencies to ensure all services are delivered on time for seamless execution of events
- Conduct research through wide array of sources and interpret safety climate demands
- Synthesise information from diverse sources to identify trends, forecast potential risks/hazards, and extract valuable lessons
- Develop key safety messages and create impactful promotional materials
Challenges
- Being meticulous in planning and managing various components to ensure seamless synchronisation of all activities whilst collaborating with different agencies to ensure timely service delivery
- Effectively communicating and persuading target audience to adopt safe behaviours and prioritise safety
- Creating impactful promotional materials that go beyond traditional approaches to capture audience's attention
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Mass Communications, Advertising, or Marketing is preferred
- Experience and expertise in using social media platforms for organisational communications
- Familiarity with features of various social media platforms that RSN is currently on, as well as up-and-coming social media platforms
