Job summary

LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics, a unit within ams OSRAM, seeks a senior Quality Management professional to lead QMS, calibration and MSA initiatives in Singapore. You will oversee internal and external audits, drive continual improvements, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Lead change management, align with corporate quality standards, and mentor QA technicians to sustain high-performance quality systems across manufacturing and product testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of QMS and Calibration and MSA with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience in internal, customer and certification audits.
• Experience leading QA technicians and inspectors.
• Work with corporate quality team to harmonise standards.
• Quality certification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Strong command of quality tools, 8D problem solving, MSA, risk management and FMEA.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure QMS policies procedures, work instructions and quality records are properly controlled, maintained and effectively implemented.
• Monitor QMS performance through defined objectives, KPIs, audits and management reviews.
• Lead and manage the QMS change management process to ensure changes are systematically assessed, planned, implemented and controlled.
• Lead the planning and execution of the internal audit programme.
• Coordinate customer, certification and regulatory audits and ensure the organisation is adequately prepared.
• Manage audit findings, corrective actions, root cause analysis and effectiveness verification and work closely with process owners to ensure timely and sustainable closure of audit findings.
• Oversee the calibration & MSA program for metrology and measurement equipment.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in QMS and Calibration and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Experience in internal, customer and certification audits
• Experience leading or supervising QA technicians and inspectors preferred
• To work with corporate quality team in harmonising the standards
• Quality certification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 systems
• Strong command of quality tools, 8D problem solving, Calibration & Measurement System Analysis (MSA), risk management and FMEA
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management and leadership skills
