Job summary

About the position

The Manager, Property and Office Services supervises a diverse team responsible for a wide range of technical and administrative support to the A-Based and LES staff of the Australian High Commission and other government agencies and their families.

The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Examine, negotiate and manage residential leases; invite and evaluate tenders and manage service and maintenance contracts.
  • Work with the facility management contractor to manage the program of building repairs and maintenance for the chancery, Head of Mission residence and other residences.
  • Prepare and monitor lease agreements and conduct accommodation inspections of residential properties as required, such as on occupations, change of occupancy or expiry/termination of lease

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills or experience in property and/or transport management
