The Netflix Advertising team is charged with building a new, best in class ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue.

This role sits within the APAC Market Planning and Operations (MPO) organization and reports to the Director, MP&O. Within MP&O we’re building out our Pricing & Packaging team, who will help steward and support our Ads pricing go-to-market.

In this role, you will support the advertising business in APAC, with specialization across ads pricing, IP pricing and packaging various ad formats to maximize revenue and to deliver value to our customers. You will work closely with a cross-functional team across Sales, Account Management, Sales Operations, Finance & Brand Partnerships to help build the best approach to packaging and pricing the Netflix ads and IP offerings.

In This Role, You Will
  • Support Sales and Account Management as the first line of defense in addressing pricing and packaging inquiries, as well as make discretionary decisions on exceptions.
  • Create, manage and implement negotiated ratecards (for agencies and advertisers) and ensure adherence to terms and conditions across all APAC ad markets.
  • Define GTM pricing & packaging requirements for new ad products, new IP, targeting capabilities and/or sponsorships.
  • Develop seasonal and IP-linked packages with a commercial focus.
  • Work cross-functionally to generate supply & demand reporting around packages and titles offerings, evaluating trends and supporting optimization to facilitate growth of the business.
  • Steward internal & marketplace feedback to resolve pricing/packaging gaps, roadblocks or opportunities.
  • Manage and approve Makegoods and Added Value on a case-by-case basis for clients and agencies.
  • Collaborate with Finance & Revenue Accounting teams to ensure pricing is compliant with corporate policy, financial guardrails and minimize billing discrepancies.
  • Steward internal & marketplace feedback to develop Sales promotions and/or resolve pricing/packaging roadblocks.
About You
  • 8+ years of experience in Pricing & Planning, Yield Management in the advertising industry.
  • Strong modeling skills and comfort with manipulating large datasets in Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
  • A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems.
  • Candidates must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, able to work autonomously, and perform tasks with a wide range of difficulties.
  • Open TV, Streaming, Pay TV or Digital Ads background is a must.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising, auction dynamics and/or ad tech.
  • Embodies Netflix’s cultural values and is excited to work in a high-performance culture.
  • Very strong project management, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels.
  • The ability to communicate financial calculations with varying degrees of detail depending on the forum. You know your audience and what they’re looking for.
