Job summary

A local recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate for youth development initiatives. This role involves collaboration with various organisations, stakeholder engagement, and grants management to support youth sector organisations. Successful candidates should possess strong communication and project management skills. The contract is for 12 months with a salary up to $4700/month and work hours are Monday to Friday.

Job description

Job Scope:

  • Develop Partnerships: Collaborate with organisations to co-create and support initiatives that address the evolving needs and aspirations of youth in Singapore.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to build trust-based relationships that enhance youth engagement and development outcomes.
  • Grants Management: Administering relevant grants that provide essential support youth sector organisations.

Requirements:

• Good communication, writing, critical thinking and project management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships.

• Experience in managing funding schemes, including application processes, compliance, and financial reporting.

• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines efficiently.

• Able to synthesise and analyse information well. Familiarity with youth trends, challenges, and opportunities in Singapore’s social landscape.

• Able to prioritise work, and adapt in a dynamic environment. A strong sense of integrity and commitment to upholding transparent and responsible grant practices.

• Able to work independently and in a team.

• Knowledge of and interest in the youth sector would be advantageous.

• Experience in starting ground-up projects and working with partners would be advantageous.

Location: Toa Payoh

Contract Duration: 12 months

Salary: up to $4700/month

Working Hours:

Mon to Thur: 8.5 Hours (excl. 1 hour meal break)
Fri: 8 hours (excl. 1 hour meal break)
