A leading operations solutions provider in Singapore seeks an Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily activities at i12 Katong. Education

- Assist and support Operations Manager to oversee the Operations of i12 Katong
- Facilitate HQ in respect of corporate compliances
- Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of M&E systems, equipment and appliances
- Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all front-end / back-end facilities
- Liaise with consultants and contractors on M&E Repairs and maintenance
- Lead and direct a team of technical personnel to carry out the daily maintenance duties and maintain the technical workshop, with safety concern in mind
- Manage all third-party contract services and ensure that the services delivered meet with all internal and industry standards
- Observe and inform the management of any irregularities or poor performance of contractors
- Support and coordinate tenancy fitting-out works and asset enhancement initiative when required
- Assist the management in the planning and execution of energy saving program
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities
- Manage and coordinate the handover and fitting out of new tenanted units
- Ensure the building is in compliance to statutory and safety requirements
- Maintain proper inventory and maintenance record on M&E and building assets, equipment and systems
- Provide technical assistance to tenants subject to the terms and conditions of Tenancy Agreement
- Coordinate emergency procedures for the mall
- Conduct regular inspection to ensure tenants meet with all the fire safety regulation
- Coordinate safety training and program for CMO and tenants
- Staff with FSM Cert may be required to assume the duty of FSM of the malll
- Act as the Duty Manager as and when assigned under the roster. Any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve excellent relationships with Team Members, tenants and service providers
- Possess initiative and a positive working attitude
- Willing to work beyond standard operating hours when required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Candidates with Fire Safety Manager or/and Environmental Control Officer is a plus but not mandatory
