Job summary

What The Role Is

You are part of the team that drives the strategic development of MINDEF/SAF’s museums. These museums are key channels for engagement with Singaporeans on defence issues, to help Singaporeans better appreciate the importance of defence and understand potential threats and challenges confronting Singapore.


What You Will Be Working On


  • Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Guide the planning, transformation and long-term direction of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), and its museums such as the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC), the upcoming NS-themed Gallery, and the three Services museums

  • Handle administrative day-to-day corporate governance work


Challenge(s)


  • Effectively manage long-term strategic work of planning DCS’ transformation and restructuring


What We Are Looking For


  • Education in Business, Arts or Social Sciences

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in policy planning and formulation, and/or project management is preferred

  • Prior experience in museum-related area is advantageous

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills


Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
