Job description

The incumbent will be part of the Migrant Worker Advisory team with the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM).

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide advisory services on labour legislations and employment practices (over email, phone and in person);
  • Advise customers on matters related to employment disputes and give guidance on options and possible recourse to the disputes and follow through with the case till closure;
  • Assist to file employment related claims on behalf of the customer;
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer related information into databases.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in customer service, human resources, or counselling
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenging customer interactions and sensitive employment issues with empathy, professionalism, and composure.
  • Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering a positive customerexperience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities to support customers effectively.
  • Comfortable using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to manage case documentation and communication.

The position offered will commensurate with individual work experience and suitability.

Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of TAL with an option to renew, contingent upon performance and subject to the organisation's needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
