Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Division

The LSCM division develops and executes strategies to position Singapore as a globally leading logistics hub. We work closely with Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs) to develop a world-class supply chain ecosystem in Singapore.

Job Description

The official title for this role will be Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of global trends to derive relevant insights for Singapore’s logistics and supply chain ecosystem development strategies.
  • Design and develop value propositions to encourage companies to set up headquarters or business activities in Singapore.
  • Implement strategies, policy changes, and industry development programmes.
Account Management:
  • Serve as the main EDB contact person to a portfolio of corporate clients and oversee account development, project negotiation, and execution.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships and build trust with clients.
  • Develop deep understanding of clients’ needs, operations, and structure to develop client engagement strategies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and structure project opportunities to secure “win-win” outcomes.
  • Offer solutions to address clients’ requests, issues, and challenges.
  • Activate relevant resources to support client engagement.
  • Build understanding of regional and global industry trends to create project opportunities and value-add to client relationships.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in strategy, policy, research, or industry development.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, and learning agility.
  • Keen business acumen and ability to identify opportunities for Singapore.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Adaptable and a good team player.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis is an advantage.
