Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitoring warehouse management systems to supervise the inventory flow and adjust to meet delivery deadlines.
- Manage warehouse team on their work for quality and safety, making changes and recommendations as necessary.
- Track daily expenses and make projections about operations budget, managing purchases and costs for keeping the warehouse running efficiently.
- Manage transport companies and 3PL.
- Training, supervising, and appraising warehouse staff and service providers' service performances.
- Maintaining statistical and financial records.
- Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
- Managing warehouse operating budgets.
- Administering inventory control (i.e., cycle count accuracy).
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations specified, and recording and communicating inventory levels.
- Help productions, planners, and buyers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
- Support internal and other relevant departments (e.g. Planners and productions) to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
- Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to processes.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Logistics Management.
- Knowing freight management is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership skills, including setting goals, motivating, and managing conflict.
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics.
- A team player with the ability to multi-task and organize work systematically.
- Process Improvement mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing and demanding environment.
