We are looking for an energetic team player to join our Integrated Outreach Central Division, specifically focusing on ethnic community engagement. This position centres on collaboratively enhancing community engagement programmes and working with to oversee partnerships that benefit ethnic communities.
Established in 2001, the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) vision is to build a nation of healthy people. We aim to empower residents in Singapore to attain optimal health, increase the quality and years of healthy life, and prevent illnesses, disability and premature death. To achieve this, HPB drives national health promotion and disease prevention programmes, spearheads health education initiatives and creates a citizen‑centric approach where healthy lifestyle options are integrated and accessible to promote healthy living every day.
The Integrated Outreach Central Division (Target Segment – Ethnic Community Outreach) collaborates closely with the community and healthcare partners to co‑create regional and community‑owned solutions to ensure good coverage and sustainable delivery of priority health promotion programmes in the community setting. Key initiatives include Active Ageing, Physical Activity, Nutrition, Substance Abuse and Mental Health. These initiatives cover the general population, as well as targeted segments such as ethnic communities and underprivileged groups (such as lower‑income families).
This role is essential in working with the team to strengthen our community engagement initiatives and collectively manage partnerships, with a specific focus on supporting ethnic minorities i.e. Malay/Muslim and Indian residents. The incumbent will collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to implement and support initiatives for a healthier living environment. He/she will work alongside colleagues to foster strategic and sustainable partnerships to build a healthy ecosystem and integrate health promotion into service delivery.
