Position Purpose

Responsible for the tactical and operational oversight of our information security program in terms of managed security services. This role involves implementing and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our information and network infrastructure. The incumbent will drive our cybersecurity strategy, ensuring systems are resilient against threats and the team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to maintain high security standards.

Responsibilities

• Security Measures Implementation and Performance Tracking
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to protect company data and network infrastructure.
  • Regularly track and report on the performance of these security measures.
• Cybersecurity Architecture and Strategy Support
  • Maintain working knowledge of Singlife’s cybersecurity architecture.
  • Support the execution and enhancement of security strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry practices.
• System Security Requirements
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and maintaining system security requirements.
  • Support preparation of technical documentation and provide input on security solutions.
• Security Infrastructure Operations
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure (hardware and software).
  • Support monitoring tools used to detect security breaches and intrusions.
• Monitoring and Preventive Controls
  • Monitor systems for suspicious activities and anomalies.
  • Assist in implementing preventive controls to reduce security risks.
• Staff Awareness and Training
  • Support security awareness initiatives and training programs.
  • Promote adherence to information security policies and best practices.
• Project Support and Delivery
  • Assist in tracking project activities and deliverables.
  • Ensure assigned tasks and milestones are completed on time.
