A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions, including employment, compensation, and employee relations. The successful candidate will require a degree, a diploma in HRM is preferred, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. The role involves advising management on policies, managing a team, and promoting effective communication across the organization.
Directs the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of most or all of the following human resources functions: employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, organizational development, HRIS training, and health and safety service programs.
Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.
Advises Company’s Management in Human Resources policies and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions as consistent with strategic direction.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsible for the setting performance standards, coaching and development of the staff.
Responsible for the planning, evaluation and implementation of recruitment/compensation & benefits/training strategies and activities.
Responsible for Employees Relations related matters which include counseling (transfers, termination etc), exit interviews and union. Act as facilitator to understand problems faced by employees/users’ department and recommend solutions to ensure win-win situation for all parties.
Recruit right people for right jobs in accordance to users’ department selection criteria.
Liaise and evaluate employment agencies/executive search companies and also establish good working relationship with them.
Review, maintain and document Company’s policies in accordance to market practices.
Do Annual salary benchmarking using Mercer Compensation and Benefits results to ensure our compensation is competitive in relation to the market practices.
Research, evaluate and work on new HR initiatives on a project basis.
Building good working relationships (e.g., communication strategies, fostering trust)
Encouraging effective teamwork (e.g., setting team goals, resolving conflicts)
Developing and coaching your team (e.g., performance reviews, personalizeddevelopment plans
To carry out any other assigned duties given by Department Head.
Degree in any discipline and / with Diploma in HRM or equivalent preferred.
Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate with all organizational levels, including top management.
The ability to lead change and be highly effective in a fast-paced, high growth business environment.
Highly proficient in Google Sheet, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
