Job Description

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Liaise with tax agents for annual tax filing and declarations.
• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions.
• Support operational activities to ensure full compliance with local tax, audit, and regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Tertiary education with a background in Accountancy or Business.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, tax reporting or external audit;
• Knowledge in public sector accounting and/or audit will be an added advantage;
• Familiarity in Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Power Automate,
  Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Power BI and/or Tenderboard e-sourcing platform will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels;
• Resourceful, highly motivated with a positive working attitude;
• Able to work independently and is a good team player.

The position offered will commensurate with individual work experience and suitability.

Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of TAL with an option to renew, contingent upon performance and subject to the organisation's needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
