Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:
- Manage and oversee the monthly closing of accounts and all accounting activities related to gaming operations (e.g., table games, slot machines, Electronic Table Games (ETG) revenue, commissions, operating expenses (OPEX), taxes, cage cashier and chip transactions, loyalty points, etc.), ensuring accurate posting of entries to the general ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts (e.g., bank accounts, gaming tax, credit card settlements) and reconciliation of gaming system reports against general ledger balances.
- Assist the Casino Finance Director/Assistant Director in preparing budgets, monitoring variances against actual results, and reviewing gaming activities. Investigate, resolve, and document unusual or significant fluctuations.
- Ensure the preparation and timely submission of operating and management reports, including relevant Table Games and Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) revenue and tax reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GRA, IRAS, Singapore Totalisator Board, CCA, ICC, tax).
- Coordinate with other finance units and casino operating teams to ensure receipts and payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Support financial analysis and handle ad hoc projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA).
- At least 5 years of experience in auditing or accounting, preferably within large organizations.
- Experience in a similar capacity or in the consumer goods/services sector is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
- Skilled in budget preparation, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
