Job summary

A national sports organization in Singapore is seeking a self-motivated individual for an IT project management role. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of high performance sport digitalization initiatives, coordinating with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Required qualifications include a background in software engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management. Passion for sports and a proactive attitude are essential. This is a 1-year contractual position.

Responsibilities

Co‑led by Sport Singapore and Singapore Sports School (SSP), you will be part of a journey to support the vision for the next bound to build new capabilities for high performance sport and better integrate our programmes/policies to strengthen support for youth to senior athletes, and youth‑to‑senior transition. If this role, you will lead end‑to‑end project delivery of HPS digitalisation initiatives, from conceptualisation to implementation, working closely with diverse stakeholders including sports administration, athletes, coaches, and sports scientists.

• Execute end‑to‑end IT project management using Agile methodologies
• Conduct stakeholder requirements gathering and analysis
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
• Design system architecture and integration frameworks
• Design knowledge management frameworks
• Develop technical and user documentation

Qualifications

• Background in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT project management and application development
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects, workflow solutions and business process automation
• Experience in cloud‑based technologies and SaaS systems in particular case management systems and SharePoint online
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with Government Instruction Manuals, Government Procurement and Private Commercial Cloud/Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) such as AWS will be added advantages
• Strong technical skills in programming languages and proficient in tools such as Python, SQL, UiPath, Word Macro, Excel Macro is preferred
• Experience and proficient in the use and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies
• Strong background in knowledge management, with a proven track record of designing and implementing effective knowledge management system
