Job description
The Position

This role plays a key part in shaping and managing the Regional Operating Unit (ROPU) ASEAN, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand (ASKAN) Corporate Brand Touchpoints, as well as the technological portfolio of Corporate Affairs. You’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation in how we communicate ensuring our brand is consistently represented across platforms and regions.

You’ll also serve as a trusted advisor to regional and local Corporate Affairs teams, providing strategic insights on leveraging technology in communications and paid media strategies.

Additionally, this role contributes to governing the use of social media across the ROPU, ensuring alignment and consistency across businesses and functions, while optimizing our presence in the digital space.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with the Corporate Brand Team, this role contributes to drive the evolution and management of the ROPU ASKAN Corporate Brand touchpoints (corporate websites, intranet, social media, etc.), and the regional/local implementation of the technological portfolio of Corporate Affairs (e.g. monitoring technology, data dashboards, content planning tools, etc.).
  • Contributes to enabling the ROPU ASKAN Corporate Affairs colleagues 1) in the use of creative digital technology and paid media, and 2) through data & insights-based feedback loops that inform the organization about the success of its activities and help to constantly optimize the Corporate Brand assets, as managed by the Corporate Brand Management & Governance team in Corporate.
  • Contributes in governing the use of social media and the company's social media channel landscape across businesses and functions in ROPU ASKAN. Responsible to help determine how social media is activated across functions in the ROPU ASKAN.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and legal constraints within the ROPU/OPU to ensure all communication and digital activities are compliant.
  • Operate within a highly matrixed organization, providing expert guidance to peers across Regional and Group Functions. Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Digital and Marketing (Marketing, Go-to-Market, AH XC, and other digital roles), IT, Regulatory Affairs, Legal (including Compliance, Data Protection, and IP), and Communications, as well as with external vendors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 5 years of experience in branding and communications relevant to corporate affairs, with a proven ability to meet objectives and deliver results in terms of quality, time, and budget
  • 3-5 years of experience in a matrixed organization is preferred
  • Exposure to analytics and measurement platforms for online and social media
  • Strong knowledge of digital technologies, especially web platforms and social media.
  • Solid understanding of governance approaches and ensuring consistency across geographical and functional layers
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills, with a confident and collaborative communication style
  • Creative, innovative thinker with natural curiosity and a proactive mindset
  • Able to think strategically beyond the scope of the role, anticipating cross-functional impact
  • Self-driven and independent, with a preference for inclusive collaboration over individual execution
