Qualifications

• Experience in career advisory, student support, alumni engagement, and internship or placement functions will be highly advantageous.

We are seeking for a Manager/Assistant Senior Manager, Student & Alumni Services to play a critical part in driving employability outcomes and strengthening industry integration within NUS-ISS. You will be responsible in shaping end-to-end career journeys, from enhancing student readiness to securing meaningful employment and internship opportunities, while building a strong ecosystem of employers and alumni. With a strong focus on outcomes, you will be accountable for placement success, employer partnerships, and leveraging alumni networks to create sustainable career opportunities for learners.

How You will Make an Impact?

1. Student Relations – Create a Supportive, Inspiring Campus Experience

• Enrich student life through employability workshops, masterclasses, networking sessions, and mentorship led by alumni and industry professionals.
• Support students navigating academic or personal challenges, ensuring they thrive throughout their ISS journey.
• Drive student employability by enabling skills articulation and securing relevant employment or internship opportunities.

2. Internship Placement & Industry Engagement – Shape Career Journeys

• Build and manage strategic employer partnerships to develop a strong talent pipeline aligned with industry needs.
• Drive acquisition of job, internships, and project-based learning opportunities through targeted employer engagement initiatives.
• Align stakeholders (students, employers, academic teams) to ensure programme relevance and successful placement outcomes.
• Drive employer participation in career talks, networking sessions, and hiring activities.
• Proactively address issues to ensure positive student and employer experience.
• Track and optimise placement and employer engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement.

3. Alumni Engagement — Grow a Community

• Drive alumni networking sessions to build and expand industry connections and opportunities.
• Career sharing sessions
• Employer connections and hiring opportunities

4. Other Duties

• Adapt to evolving organisational priorities by taking on additional responsibilities and projects as required.
