Job description
What the role is

You will be part of the team that develops and delivers initiatives in the digital media space. Your role will focus on managing partnerships, projects and programmes that engage Singaporeans through digital‑first platforms. You will support industry initiatives under the Singapore Media Festival and explore approaches to enhance how we assess and deliver content. In addition, you will contribute to some initiatives in the Singapore gaming sector, mainly in areas of industry engagement and support. An interest in digital media, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with public sector processes will help you succeed in this role.

What you will be working on
  • Programme and Partnership Support
    • Support the team in administering partnership programmes that enable digital content agencies and creators to reach Singaporean audiences effectively.
    • Assist in onboarding and managing partners with strong potential to deliver wide reach, engagement, and impactful content.
    • Help prepare and process submissions to secure approvals for future programme funding.
    • Provide secondary support to gaming‑related initiatives, where relevant, in areas such as industry showcases or collaborations.
  • Singapore Media Festival – New Media Event
    • Lead resourcing, research, and documentation for the appointment of a partner to manage the New Media event under SMF from 2026.
    • Manage the organisation and coordination of requests for information processes, including quotations and call‑for‑participation where relevant. Evaluate proposals from call‑for‑participation and recommend the best organiser for a new media event aligned with Singapore’s content creator economy.
    • Track deliverables and ensure the appointed partner meets expectations across strategy, programming, and impact.
  • Support for Industry Development Initiatives
    • Contribute to the preparation of the next phase of support for industry development programmes.
    • Work with the team to review partner performance and identify new opportunities to strengthen the content ecosystem.
    • Assist in engagement with gaming industry stakeholders, such as during regional or local industry events.
  • Grant Programme Administration
    • Oversee the administration of grant programs aimed at supporting the development of projects, companies, and individuals within the new media sector.
    • Analyse and prepare comprehensive assessments and recommendations to secure approvals for programmes and budgets.
    • Supervise the selection and assessment processes for grants, ensuring they are allocated to suitable projects at both company and individual talent levels to maximise value for the new media sector.
    • Manage partnerships and oversee project implementation efforts within the team, including project scoping, contract negotiation, progress monitoring, deliverable verification, funding administration, and performance review.
Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the public sector or with organisations that work closely with government agencies.
  • Familiarity with documentation and administration of government programmes or funding support will be an advantage.
  • Experience working with or within digital content agencies, creative studios, or media companies will be useful.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Resourceful, detail‑oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Strong in people, programme, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
