Job description
What the role is:

You will be part of a team that supports the planning and management of the Ministry’s corporate resourcing needs, particularly in the area of parliamentary support. You will play a key role in executing and enhancing MND’s parliamentary coordination processes and systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build competencies in administration management, project management and stakeholder management.

What you will be working on:
  • Coordinate MND’s Parliamentary matters, including the preparation and circulation of Parliamentary documents, provision of support to MND divisions for Parliament sittings and provision of accurate and timely updates, advice and briefings to senior management and divisions.
  • Develop effective and efficient corporate resources, including corporate guidelines, reports, processes and systems to ensure corporate governance, and the retention and sharing of MND’s institutional knowledge.
  • Other duties relating to the planning and coordination of MND projects and events.

Note:

  • Some understanding of Singapore’s parliamentary processes will be an advantage.
  • May have to work over some weekends to prepare for Parliament sittings.

  • Stakeholder Management – Work with relevant stakeholders at the different levels of the system to engage them on relevant input to support the interventions for organisational change.

  • Project Execution – Plan and execute projects in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Governance and Internal Controls – Apply and review internal control frameworks, regulations and policies to strengthen the governance and control of the agency.
