Manager - Asia Pacific Treasury Settlements Consultant

Overview

The Treasury function at Mastercard is responsible for safeguarding and optimizing the company's financial resources globally. Within Treasury, the Global Settlement Services team manages the movement of funds related to Mastercard transactions, maintains relationships with commercial and central settlement bank partners, engages with regulatory bodies and ensures operational excellence across all settlement activities.

This Manager - Asia Pacific Treasury Settlements Consultant role is a high impact role that supports business partners in Asia Pacific on any consultations related to Settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Key contact point for Technical Account Managers and Customer Technical Service team in Asia Pacific for consulting on matters relates to settlement (payments from/to customers).
  • Working with internal business partners and external customers to advise on the settlement set ups and changes.
  • Manage local banking relationships to ensure timely response for APAC settlement matters and liquidity needs. Coordinate with local stakeholders and bank partners for Treasury settlements related documentation execution, including signatory management.
  • Collaborate with Settlement Operations (including Payments Assurance and Global Settlements and Reconciliation Support teams) to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve settlement issues in a timely manner.
  • Addressing settlement related enquiries from regulators in the region.
All About You
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Advanced level of expertise in either Treasury banking set-ups or customer technical implementation gained through experiences in multinational corporates' Regional/Global finance centres, financial institutions or banks.
  • Sound understanding of transactional banking concepts.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer implementation projects.
  • Team player with proven team leadership and relationship skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing banking relationships.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's in finance or Business Administration or related field.
