A local catering company in Singapore is seeking a skilled noodle chef to prepare authentic Lanzhou beef noodles. Responsibilities include cooking, managing ingredient quality, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food safety. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience, skilled in hand-pulled noodles, and knows the traditional elements of Lanzhou cuisine. A culinary certification is advantageous, and basic Chinese communication skills are required.
Secondary school or above. Professional culinary certification is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in preparing authentic Lanzhou beef noodles. Must be familiar with the traditional “five elements” of Lanzhou noodles — clear soup, tender beef, chewy noodles, red chili oil, and green garnish.
Proficient in hand‑pulled noodle techniques. Skilled in soup base preparation and flavor balancing. Capable of working efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
Basic Chinese communication required; English proficiency is an advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to food quality and hygiene. Team player with good communication and service attitude. Willing to learn and adapt to Singapore’s food industry standards.
