A prominent restaurant group in Singapore is seeking an experienced operational manager. The role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Candidates should have 2-3 years in F&B operations, excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and a strong analytical mindset. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient restaurant performance.
Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and standards for food preparation, customer service, and health and safety.
Supervise and support team members during shifts to maintain smooth workflow.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and stock control.
Participate in staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Monitor sales and financial performance, contributing to revenue growth.
Support marketing promotions, special events, and sales initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
Experience and Skills:
2-3 years of successful operational management experience in a F&B operation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting skills and strong analytical/decision making skills are needed; demonstrated achievement in staff selection, coaching and development.
Physical:
Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized point of sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
