Your duties as Assistant Manager are as follows:
- Be able to sell all products at the store which include meats, wines, cheese and gourmet items.
- Manage the upload, inventory and descriptions of 3rd party platforms like GrabMart, Deliveroo, etc as well as our own Shopify website.
- Learn and use the inventory control system and stock checking of meats upon arrival.
- Be responsible for organising and coordinating the deliveries for customers and businesses for both our retail and wholesale orders.
- Independently reorder from suppliers when inventory levels are low and look for new or replacement items from suppliers.
- Follow SOPs and production standards of the company.
- Be confident to sell to clients and comfortable with having a sales target that is matched with daily sales incentives.
- Seek new ways to touch base and soft sell to customers through digital methods (WhatsApp, emails or phone calls) and be responsible for service recovery when required.
- Assist with admin work by creating, filing and organising documents (invoices, etc) for accountants and calculating commission payments to related parties.
- Assist in developing marketing promotions and coordinating with external service providers in conjunction with the rest of the team.
- Assist with additional sales incentives (daily or monthly), track and galvanise the team towards achieving these goals.
- Plan together with the owners on key high-sales months like Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc. and coordinate with external service providers.
